Call Forth album to be released in 2012
January 15, 2012
Our upcoming album Call Forth will be released in June 2012.
After all these years working on these songs on and off, it has now become our priority to get a proper Abstract Decay full length album out there. People who attended our shows know most of the songs. This includes a few songs which we have not played since 2009 and 2010, but continued to progress in the meantime.
Releasing the New Flow EP last year was a great learning experience. There are several little elements in the production and mixing that we want to approach differently for the album. The mastering phase used to be sort of a black box which we were unsure how the tracks would be shaped after.
We intent to continue releasing our music independently. It just feel to be the only way we can put a bit of ourselves into the music and letting it be discovered by others. More information about the album will be disclosed during the next months.
New website
January 5, 2012
More than two years after registering the domain name we finally have the complete website in place. It can be expected that we will add new features and new sections over time.
Next week we will update everyone about (new) music.
Show yesterday
December 16, 2011
It was a rather fun night on Thursday. We thank everyone who attended the show. Special greetings to Decoded Feedback and Portion Control. Their performance was impressive. From what we could see in the crowd, the audience appreciated and enjoyed the show!
New Flow released
December 3, 2011
We have just released our New Flow EP on Bandcamp. These songs were developed over the last three years. It's with much pleasure we can finally let some of our material out there for everyone to listen.
New Flow EP track list:
1) Untenable State
2) New Flow
3) Torment
4) Reality (instrumental)
The mastering was done by Frank Marheineke at Mainframe Analog Mastering.
Both CD release and digital release on iTunes/Amazon/etc will follow on December 15th. More info next week on ordering the CD and merchandise.
Song writing continue
October 31, 2010
Improving the songs has been a constant priority since the last gig. Some older songs got discarded in the last few months. A constant core of songs survived several iterations.
The newest addition to the studio is a new Prophet 08 from Dave Smith. It's doing wonders to the basslines. The Virus TI is used for most of the effects tracks and also some pads.
